There are practice exams and study guides at qrz.com. The QRZ Practice Tests for amateur radio exams are free and open to the public. No previous or existing amateur license is required to participate. These tests keep track of your individual progress and so in order to use them, you must first register or log in with a QRZ User account.

In-person exams are given in Morgantown at the Red Cross building on Pineview Drive the third Tuesday evening of each month at 6PM. Sometimes the Mon Wireless Association (Morgantown Club) hold classes too. The site is https://w8mwa.org/. Click on VE Testing Tab.

In-person exams are also given by the Central West Virginia Wireless Association on the 4th Thursday of each month at:
